Twenty Twelve Theme
Dear Friends,
अगर आप AchhiKhabar.Com (AKC) के regular visitor हैं तो शायद आपने इस site के layout में कुछ changes notice किये होंगे . ये changes WordPress Theme change करने के कारण दिख रहे हैं .
पहले मैं Twenty Ten Theme use करता था , अब मैं Twenty Twelve पर switch कर गया हूँ .
Theme बदलने का main reason क्या है ?
Twenty Ten Theme Responsive theme नहीं थी , यानि अगर मैं AKC को किसी mobile पे खोलता था तो वो mobile की screen के हिसाब से नहीं खुलती थी बल्कि desktop version ही खुल जाता था ,इस वजह से user को both horizontally and vertically scroll करना पड़ता था . इस problem का बहुत हद्द तक solution WordPress Mobile pack plugin में मिल गया था , पर उस plugin में कुछ कमियां थीं —कई बार desktop पे भी mobile version खुल जाता था , और of late मैंने notice किया कि इस mobile version पर अपने आप ही कुछ adult ads pop up होने लगे हैं . और चीजें झेलीं जा सकती थीं पर AKC पर इस तरह के ads आना …that was unbearable.
इसीलिए मैंने तुरंत mobile site के लिए कुछ और try करने का सोचा , पहले मैंने Dudamobile, bmobilized , etc try किया , पर उनके साथ मैं अपने सारे wordpress plugins नहीं use कर सकता था , इसलिए at last I decided कि मैं एक responsive theme par switch कर जाऊँगा and I chose Twenty Twelve.
Mind you, ये इतना straight forward नहीं था . Theme choose करने के बाद मुझे इसपे घंटों काम करना पड़ा ताकि ये मेरे मन लायक दिखे , और अभी भी इसमें कुछ काम बाकी है , जो मैं धीरे -धीरे कर रहा हूँ .
पर mobile site पर इतना ध्यान देने की क्या ज़रुरत है , ज्यादातर लोग तो desktop पे visit करते हैं ?
No, पिछले एक महीने में AKC पे total 5.78 lacs visitors आये जिसमे 2.55 lacs mobile visitors थे . So they cannot be ignored.
Friends, generally CHANGE कुछ discomfort के साथ आता है even if it is for good. इसलिए यदि आपको इस theme के साथ कोई problem आ रही हो तो मुझे कमेंट के through या [email protected] पर बताने का कष्ट करें . और अगर आपको ये अच्छी लग रही है तो भी मुझे ज़रूर बताएं .

Please आप अपना IE version 9 and above रखिये , क्योंकि IE 8 पर twenty twelve theme ठीक से काम नहीं करती .

hi sir…I use sony xperia tipo and browsers are uc browser or opera to open your site regularly. You cared about us thanks for it but no thanks because previous theme was working very good in my device and now after your update it is not so… it is taking longer in loading pages and the format is also not as earlier. so if you can fix it please fix otherwise don’t worry I will manage.and at last thanks for this blog.
